On May 15, 2015, Charlotte Yates, Principal Investigator for the APRC, presented new research findings at an Ontario Auto Mayors’ roundtable summit in Oakville.

Attended by representatives from Government, industry and academia, it is clear that there is an appetite for a well-organized strategic position and manufacturing policy framework in Ontario.

“We unanimously agreed on the importance and pressing need for national and provincial advanced automotive manufacturing policy,” Oakville Mayor Rob Burton said. “The reports from APRC, MEDEI and CVMA were especially insightful.”

The APRC is set to release its newest research report — from which Charlotte Yates presented findings — in the coming week
