By November 1, 2018 No Comments

Tenneco (NYSE:TEN), the world’s 32nd largest automotive parts manufacturer by sales, recently completed its acquisition of Federal-Mogul LLC, the world’s 43rd largest automotive parts manufacturer. With combined revenues of over US$13 billion, this potentially places Tenneco among the 20th largest automotive parts manufacturers in the world, and is consistent with a trend of sectoral consolidation noted by APRC researchers.

Tenneco operates two large facilities in Canada; one in Cambridge, Ontario that manufactures exhaust systems and components, and another in Owen Sound, Ontario that manufactures ride control products. The Owen Sound facility is scheduled for closure in 2020.
